2.  Solid

Benjamin Moores solid stain offers rich, opaque colour that allows the texture of the wood, but not the grain to show through.  Solid stain offers long lasting beauty and protection, and is available in all Benjamin Moore colours for decking, siding, fencing, shakes and furniture.  Available in latex based siding F089, and deck F065 formulas, as well as alkyd based K095.

3.  Semi-Solid

Benjamin Moores semi-solid stain offers rich, nearly opaque colour that delivers the long lasting protection of a solid stain without completely obscuring the natural grain and texture of the wood.  Also great for hiding the imperfections of older, more weathered wood.  Semi-solid stain is available in a wide range of colours, and is ideal for protecting decking, siding, fences shakes and furniture.  Available in an alkyd base K329.

4.  Semi-Transparent

Benjamin Moores semi-transparent stain is a deeply penetrating formula that protects wood against UV and water damage without obscuring the texture or grain of the wood.  Semi-transparent stain is available in a wide range of colours, and is ideal for protecting and beautifying decking, siding, fencing, shakes and furniture.  Available in an alkyd base K328.

5.  Transparent

Benjamin Moores transparent stain has a deeply penetrating formula combined with trans-oxide pigments creating a durable finish that offers outstanding protection from water and UV damage.  Transparent stain imparts a slight tone to highlight the natural beauty of the wood and is ideal for decking, siding, fencing, shakes and furniture.  Available in select colours K323.
